Understand how long workspace information is kept and how deletion works.

Organisation administrators can review retention settings, request exports or deletion, and see when legal, security, billing, or backup requirements delay final erasure.

Organisation records

Default policy: 2,555 days. Organisation administrators can set the applicable retention policy or request deletion, subject to holds and backup expiry.

Workspace and project records

Default policy: 1,825 days for workspace records, project folders, saved outputs, and durable context.

Documents

Default policy: 1,095 days for uploaded documents and the text used to search them.

AI activity records

Default policy: 365 days. Automatic deletion is disabled by default so an administrator reviews the policy before enabling cleanup.

Security and billing evidence

Selected records may be retained longer where required for account integrity, payment disputes, legal obligations, or an active hold.

Backups

Deleted information may remain in protected backups until the normal backup copy expires and is not restored into active customer use except for recovery.

Organisation owners can request export, deletion, or retention review.

Requests should identify the organisation, workspace, scope, reason, and whether regulated or client-confidential data is involved.
